Fiona Bird

Senior BIM Engineering Co-Ordinator

Fiona’s background spans mechanical, building services, manufacturing, and mining engineering, with extensive experience across the UK and international markets. She has worked on projects covering residential, commercial, industrial, and mining sectors, delivering high-quality design from concept through to construction.

Fiona has extensive experience in the preparation and development of costings, from product pricing throughout the manufacturing process to detailed cost planning and control across all EPCM stages in the mining sector. Her background includes process improvement and system design, contributing to greater performance across project workflows.

Prior to joining WP3, she worked in senior roles within leading engineering consultancies, where she led multidisciplinary teams and drove improvements in design processes and technical coordination. With strong expertise in MEP systems, BIM integration, and practical costing, she combines a collaborative, results-driven approach with a clear understanding of both engineering and commercial requirements
